Newborns to 12 months

Pregnancy and Expecting: Getting Ready for Baby

Motherhood is an emotional journey, from the excitement of expecting to the challenges of preparation. Here, I share reflections on pregnancy, birth, and the transition into motherhood.

Newborn to 3 months

A period of rapid adjustment as your baby adapts to the world, focusing on bonding, reflexes, sleep patterns, and early sensory development.

7 to 9 months

A stage of increasing mobility and communication, with babies learning to sit, crawl, babble, and show stronger emotional attachments.

4 to 6 months

Your baby becomes more active and aware, learning to roll, grasp objects, respond to voices, and explore new textures, including the first taste of solids.

10 to 12 months

A time of growing independence as babies start pulling up, cruising, taking first steps, using gestures, and experimenting with self-feeding.
